Kaudulla national park is 16,494-acre or 6.656 hectares. The Kaudulla ancient lake surrounded by grassland and scrubby forest forms the center piece of the park providing the elephants and other wildlife with the water and lush vegetation what they need.
Kaudulla located in a elephant corridor between Somawathie Chaitya national park and Minneriya national park.
